Some resorts win you over slowly. This one didn't bother with slow. From the moment we stepped off the plane and straight onto a private yacht, champagne in hand, it was clear this was going to be one of those trips we'd be comparing everything else to for a long time.
No seaplane, no waiting lounge, just a short walk from the arrivals hall to a private yacht and a genuinely smooth 40 to 45 minute cruise across to the island, with snacks and champagne on offer the whole way. After a long flight, being able to relax properly from the very first minute, rather than facing another transfer, made a real difference, and it's a level of convenience some of the more remote resorts simply can't match.
